June Emergency Phrases ยท Episode 13
Someone drops to the floor. No response. Do you know what to sign?
UNCONSCIOUS starts with both flat hands raised in front of your chest โ€” then everything falls: hands drop, fingers go limp. The body tells the story in one motion.

Card 1 โ€” Starting Handshape Both open-B hands at mid-chest, palms facing each other, fingers pointing up.
Card 2 โ€” Motion Both hands drop simultaneously. As they fall, the fingers curl closed into a loose fist. No pause โ€” it happens in one fluid drop.
Card 3 โ€” Ending Handshape Relaxed fists hanging low โ€” wrists loose, arms heavy. The limpness is part of the sign.
Card 4 โ€” Usage "She is unconscious โ€” call for help!" Pair this sign with HELP or CALL-911 in an emergency. Speed matters.

๐Ÿซณ Tip: The downward drop + curl is the whole sign. Keep it smooth, not stiff โ€” the relaxed ending is what makes it read as "limp" vs. just "down."
